Frank Daly, Chairman of the National Asset Management Agency [NAMA], has welcomed the announcements by the Minister for Finance today in respect of NAMA.  

Speaking on the appointment of John Mulcahy as an Executive Director of the agency, Mr. Daly said that the appointment reflected both Mr. Mulcahy's skill and experience in the property sector and the importance of the role of asset management at the agency; "together with the wider team at NAMA, John has made a very significant contribution to our work since the agency was created and I am very confident that he’ll make a very valuable contribution at Board level." 

Mr. Daly also said that the agency would work closely with the newly created Advisory Group whose membership and Terms of Reference were confirmed today.
